About Zolo Pad

Personal wiki, local notebook.

Zolo Pad is built for the single-user wiki: a fast, private place to connect notes, projects, research, and reference material without running a server or handing your notebook to a cloud workspace.

Why a personal wiki?

A personal wiki turns scattered notes into a navigable web. Each topic can become its own page, and links let related ideas stay connected without forcing everything into one rigid outline. That makes it useful for research notebooks, project notes, personal knowledge bases, journals, client details, and long-running reference collections.

Local first by design.

Desktop and offline wikis are strongest when speed, privacy, and reliability matter. Zolo Pad follows that model: notebooks live in local files, navigation does not depend on network access, and the durable format is readable Markdown instead of a hidden database.

Works offline

Open your notebook on a plane, on weak Wi-Fi, or anywhere you have your Mac. Page navigation and editing stay local.

Wiki links

Create pages as you write, follow links instantly, and build a connected notebook around your own words.

Portable files

Your notebook is a normal file you can back up, move, inspect, and keep under your own control.

Simple enough to keep using.

Zolo Pad focuses on the core personal-wiki workflow: create pages, write in Markdown, link related notes, search locally, and keep moving. It is intentionally single-user and local-first because a personal wiki should feel immediate, private, and easy to maintain.
